There is no specific mention in J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" of Smaug pooping in Erebor. However, it can be assumed that as a living creature, Smaug would have had bodily functions like any other creature. The book does describe Smaug as being a creature of great size and power, so it is likely that he would have had some form of waste disposal. However, the book does not go into detail about this aspect of Smaug's existence. **

Smaug, while formidable in his own right, did not possess the same level of inherent power or influence as Sauron. **

Smaug knows that Thorin is called Oakenshield because it is a well-known name among the dwarves. Thorin earned the name Oakenshield after using an oak branch as a shield during a battle. Therefore, he is aware of Thorin's nickname and uses it to taunt and intimidate him during their interactions. **
